Our emphasis is community service.

To raise funds to enhance our community, we conduct several fundraising events.

“Rotary on the Radio”, held on or around April Fools’ Day each year raises funds for scholarships to help Crook County High School graduates in their post high school educational pursuits.

Selling and delivering roses by the dozen during our “Rotary Roses” fundraiser brings plenty of smiles in late September each year.

We also work at the entrance booth at the Parimutual  Horses and sell tickets for a chance to ride in our sponsored hot air balloon during the 4th of July.  Proceeds from these events fund our small grant program and carefully selected larger projects within the community.

When available, we augment funds locally raised through the use of matching District grants for our larger projects.

In October 2018, we hosted our first “Halloween Hustle” fun-raiser, featuring a costumed 5K run/walk/bicycle through Prineville, raffle drawing and tri-tip BBQ.
